HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK MY EVENT?

 

 

We book up to 12 months in advance.

 

 

DO YOU HAVE DIFFERENT SPACES AVAILABLE?

 

There are several spaces to host your event. The Armory ballroom is almost 8,500 square feet. It has the ability to be broken down into six smaller spaces. We have the Hesterly Salon that can be used for a cocktail hour, ceremony or auction area. Groups can also book the pool area for social events.

 

 

DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?

 

We are the sole food and beverage provider. However, 501c3 charities may be granted permission to provide alcohol for fundraising events. Rules and restrictions apply.

 

 

IS THERE A ROOM RENTAL FEE?

 

Not usually. Most events are contracted to a food and beverage minimum for the ballroom(s) they are using. Room rentals may be considered when food and beverage does not meet the minimum.

 

 

DO YOU HAVE A SERVICE CHARGE?

 

Yes. The service charge is 21%. See a sales manager or event coordinator for details.

 

 

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE EVENT COORDINATOR?

 

The event coordinator will help plan the details of your event and assist you on the day of your event.

 

 

DO YOU HAVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH HOTELS IN THE AREA?

 

Yes. We partner with several hotels in the area. They often provide special room rates and complimentary shuttling.

 

 

DO YOU HAVE A PREFERRED VENDORS LIST?

 

Yes. We have a preferred vendors list for services we don’t provide, for example DJ and photography. You are not required to use the vendors on our list. However, the vendors on our list come highly recommended by other clients and our staff, and are familiar with our facility.

 

 

DOES PARKING COST EXTRA?

 

We have over 300 parking spaces on our property that are free of charge. You can contract with a valet company for overflow parking requirements. See your event coordinator for recommendations.

 

 

CAN I HOST A POLITICAL FUNDRAISER AT THIS VENUE?

 

As a 501(c)3 tax exempt, charitable organization, the Tampa JCCs & Federation does not endorse any political candidates or political parties.

 

To avoid the appearance of endorsing any political candidate, the JCC will not rent its facility to any political candidate or party to further his/her/its political campaign or purpose.

 

The JCC may rent to non-partisan groups seeking to use the facility for purposes of open candidate forums at which all candidates from all parties are invited to participate.

 

 

DO YOU OFFER EVENT PRODUCTION AND FLORAL?

 

Yes. We encourage you to utilize our in-house décor/production team and florist.

 

 

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?

 

We offer wedding cakes, theatrical lighting and audiovisual services. All AV services are contracted through our partner, Audio Visual Support Services (AVSS).
